Victoria Junior Shamrocks Player Marshall King Selected for Team Canada U19 Field Lacrosse Team
After leading the Victoria Intermediate A Shamrocks Lacrosse Team to Provincial Gold in 2015, Victoria’s Marshall King has been selected as one of four BC Players to represent Canada at the upcoming 2016 World U19 Field Lacrosse Championships.
The tournament will be held in Coquitlam from July 7 to 16 this summer and will feature 17 teams from around the world.
King is currently attending Drexel University in Pennsylvania and is expected to play a few games for the Jr Rocks upon his return, before heading off to Coquitlam.
In 2015 Marshall lead the Intermediate Shamrocks (17 to 18 year old players) both on and off the floor as Team Captain and by putting up 99 points, 38 goals and 61 assists, in 17 regular season games.
