We realize that a lot of players have played for the JR A Shamrocks over the many years, and we would like to create this new Alumni Group. Once in place players from the past and future can look to the site for upcoming alumni games, community events, Alumni swag and other items.
For the many players who have played for the JR A Shamrocks, McDonalds Bread, Vic-Esq Eagles and Esquimalt Legion Teams please send you contact info to the General Manger to register, look for events to attend and purchase Alumni items. This year we are also looking into making a Victoria JR A Shamrocks rings for players to purchase as a part of our history and honor the previous Minto Cup winner, 1962 Victoria Shamrocks, 1976 McDonalds bread, and 1988 Esquimalt legion.
This year is the 30th anniversary of the 1988 Minto cup champions. We are putting together an anniversary jersey which will have all three teams on it that have won a Minto cup. The logo’s from the 1962 Victoria Shamrocks, 1976 McDonalds bread, and 1988 Esquimalt legion will be part of the retro third Jersey this year. The third jersey will be available for purchase.
