Rocks Present Team Awards

The Tier 1 Junior ‘B’ and the Junior ‘A’ Shamrocks both handed out their team awards Friday. 

On the Tier 1 side, there were 6 awards but 3 winners as all three were double winners.  Evan Law picked up the top scorer award and the Sportsman award.  The Most Inspirational and Top Defensive Player awards both went to Travis Pullan and Cameron was voted both the Top Rookie and the MVP.

The Jr. ‘A’ Rocks had 1 double winner and that was Zach Manns who picked up the top scorer as well as the MVP award.  The Best Conditioned Player as selected by training and coaching staff was Owen Russell.  Max Wilson was selected the Top Defensive Player while team captain Brian Robb was named the Most Inspirational.  Most Popular as selected by his teammates was Brody Black and Denton Macdonald, moved from an offensive to a defensive role picked up the Most Improved Player award.  Rounding out the team awards were Ben Preston who received the Sportsman Award and Patrick Dodds being named the Top Rookie.

There were also 4 service awards handed out:

The Bob Reid Merit Award went to Rauvy Dalep

The Bill Russell Service Award to Craig Pullan

The Shamrock Pride Award to James Lean

The Grant Hamilton Excellence in Sports and Community Service was awarded to Jr. Shamrocks goaltender, Cameron Dunkerley.

The organization also recognized 8 graduating players:
