Rocks Go Up 2 to 1 in Semi-Final Series

With a berth in the Minto Cup on the line, the Jr. ‘A’ Rocks needed a late goal to come away with a 15-14 decision over the visiting New Westminster Salmonbellies in game 3 of the best-of-seven semi-final series. 

The win gives the Shamrocks a 2-1 lead in the series with game 4 taking place in New Westminster Sunday in Queens Park at 400. 

Teioshontathe McComber continues to shine since arriving and led the offense with 2 goals and 4 assist. Zach Manns chipped in a goal and 4 helpers with Brian Robb, Austin Madronic, Patrick Dodds, and Jackson Boyd each scoring twice. 

Singles came from Ben Preston, Caleb Kueber, Casey Wilson and Liam Phillips with Cameron Dunkerley picking up the win in goal. 

The series returns to Victoria for game 5 next Saturday with that game being played at the Save-On Foods Memorial Center starting at 400.
