New General Manager

The Victoria Junior Shamrocks would like to announce a change in General Manager.

After deliberation during the off season, Tim Dennett has decided to step down as GM of the Jr Shamrocks.  Tim has realized that coaching is his passion and we are very pleased that he will be staying on with the team as Offensive Coach.  Tim is very happy for the opportunity to again coach this great group of players that he has been working with since they played minor.

At this time we would also like to announce that current Intermediate Shamrocks GM, Wade Murray, will assume the GM position on both teams. Wade states “We have built a collaborative approach to the JR Shamrocks program over the last several years. Two of the goals in place are to win a Minto Cup, and develop our players through the 5 year program. Everyone is working hard behind the scenes and on and off the floor to accomplish all of our goals. Tim Dennett continues to be one of the best coach’s involved with lacrosse and is a big part of the Leadership group”.

Both these men bring vast experience in the lacrosse and sports communities and we look forward to a great year.
