Jr. Shamrocks Hand Out Team Awards

The Jr. and Intermediate Shamrocks held their annual team awards event July 13. There was a good gathering of players, family members, executive and team staff on hand at Brown’s Social House on Goldstream for the occastion.

Rookie Danny Smith was the big winner as he took home, not only the Rookie award but also the Most Inspirational and Best Conditioned awards.

Other Award winners were:

Goaltender Charles Claxton - Most Valuable Player

Nate Clark – Most Improved Player

Matt Hamilton – Sportsman Award

Adam Jay – Top Defender

Cole Pickup – Top Scorer

Service Awards were also given out to non-players as follows:

Bill Russell Service Award – to team trainer Sven Bornemann

Bob Reid Merit Award – to director Lori Morgan

Shamrock Pride Award – to head scout Loren McInerney.
