Jr Rocks Honor 1976 Minto Team

The Junior Shamrocks are proud to invite the players and management of the 1976 Minto Cup winning Victoria McDonald's Bread team.

Victoria had been out of the Junior A leagues for a few year when John McDonald, a local Baking Company owner, worked with a group of dedicated lacrosse people to bring the McDonald's Bread franchise into the league in 1971.

5 years later, they won the Minto Cup with a convincing 4 game sweep of the Bramelea Excelsiors.

John is in town today along with several of the players to drop the opening ball of Game against the first place Coquitlam Adanacs.

Game time is 5:00 PM, come out and watch some legends return to the Jr A Floor.
