HEAD COACH CHRISTIANSON RESIGNS

After a very difficult decision, Walt Christianson is stepping down as the Head Coach of the Junior Shamrocks Lacrosse Team.

Walt recently retired from his job as a teacher and coach at Victoria High School and after 42 years of coaching has found that other interests are having more of an influence on his life.

Walt is planning on buying a fishing trailer in Sooke, so he can spend as much time fishing as possible.  

He says he will still be at all of the games, only hopefully smelling of fish….

The Staff and Management of the Jr Shamrocks would like to thank Walt for his time and efforts this past year and wish him all the best

GM Tim Dennett now begins his search for a new Head Coach.
